Te Mata peak is a look out over Napier, Hastings and the Heretaunga plains with the Kaweka and Ruahine as a back drop and the three life flowing rivers of the Tuki Tuki, Tuta Kuri and Ngunguru rivers that meander through the Heretaunga plains from their beginnings in the ranges in the back ground. Look West North West and see the coast line all the way to Wairoa on a fine clear day.
Bluff Hill Napier
Sun Rise & Sunset, up Bluff Hill Napier. Bluff hill Napier was occupied by 77 Battery 10 Coast Regiment NZA. The battery maned two six inch in concrete emplacements offering commanding views of HaweksBay, also looking straight down upon the port of Napier and its 24 hour activities.
